FNB Online
Security
At First National Bank & Trust Company,
we take computer security very seriously. Computer security is much more
than just protecting against viruses. There are many general rules to
follow when e-mailing, browsing, shopping, or banking online. All of these
can help protect your computer and your identity. In order to take full
advantage of the many banking resources and conveniences online, it is important
that you use the latest security techniques, your software remains up to date
and that your virus protection is current. We have provided some
information below relating to best practices and some helpful links.
Enhanced Login
Security is at FNB Online Banking!
Enhanced Login Security is an industry
response to the ever increasing tactics & resources of fraudsters online.
A user ID and password is no longer all it will take to login to internet
banking, you must also have a second form of identification. At First
National Bank, that second piece is the computer you are logging in from.
You will identify what computers can access your online banking. Access at
any other machine will require further verification of your identity. In
short, a fraudster must now steal your user ID, password, & computer to be able
to login as you! See
Login Security above for more information.
